Adventurer Club

The Adventurer Club aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. The Club caters to children from kindergarten to grade 4 and their parents, and includes a Little Lamb program for Jr. Kindergarten and an Eager Beaver program for Sr. Kindergarten children.

The Adventurer Club provides fun and creative ways for children:

  1. To develop a Christ-like character;
  2. To experience the joy and satisfaction of doing things well;
  3. To express their love for Jesus in a natural way;
  4. To learn good sportsmanship and strengthen their ability to get along with others;
  5. To discover their God-given abilities and to know how to use them to benefit self and serve others;
  6. To improve their understanding of what makes families strong.

Among its multifaceted features, the Club provides a meaningful and exciting experience as the children look forward with anticipation to some day being Pathfinders.

The Adventurer Club meets every second and fourth Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. To learn more or to enroll your child(ren), complete the Join A Ministry form.

Pathfinder Club

Enjoy backpacking? Biking? Canoeing? Caving? Camping? Want to be an active young Christian on an adventure with friends who love Jesus? Then join Pathfinders. Club members enjoy club meetings, camping, and service adventures designed to develop Christ-like citizens.

Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.

Pathfindering provides opportunities to mentor and encourage young people from grades 5 to 10 in the Christian faith. The Club offers a wide range of activities including:

  • Camping and camping/survival skills
  • Grade appropriate leadership training
  • Outreach activities such as helping in downtown soup kitchens, cleaning and maintaining city and county parks, visiting and encouraging the elderly, and MANY more.

The Pathfinder Club meets every other Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To learn more or to enrol your child(ren), complete the Join A Ministry form.

Master Guide Club

The Master Guide ministry is the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s highest youth leadership credential, emphasizing spiritual maturity and leadership competence. It equips committed church members to model Christian living, mentor Adventurers and Pathfinders, and serve as advisors and role models for local Adventurer and Pathfinder ministries.

The Master Guide ministry is not a Pathfinder Program; it is a Youth Ministry Leadership program. Training blends personal spiritual disciplines with leadership theory and hands‑on ministry skills—nature, outreach, service, and healthy living—so leaders can both teach and exemplify faith in action.

Candidates must meet membership and age requirements, complete basic staff training, and satisfy background‑check and child‑protection prerequisites before investiture. The program uses standardized curriculum materials, record keeping, and uniform recognition to ensure consistent outcomes, and encourages mentorship, integration with local clubs, and ongoing continuing education to sustain safe, effective, and spiritually grounded youth ministries.
