Sacred music is an important part of the worship experience at the Ottawa Adventist Church. Music lifts the thoughts to that which is pure, noble, elevated and awakens in the soul devotion and gratitude to God.
The Ottawa Adventist Church’s Music Committee is responsible for:
- Coordinating special music for the Sabbath worship services.
- Planning special musical events around the holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- Working with the local church school to schedule children’s choirs and other musical presentations.
- Scheduling choristers to lead the congregational singing during the Sabbath worship services.
- Scheduling musicians to accompany the congregational singing.
There are several choirs at the Ottawa Adventist Church – Children’s, Youth, Church, Men’s. If you would like to join your voice in singing praises to God, complete the Join A Ministry form, indicating the choir(s) of interest.
