In past years at the request of the Jamaica High Commission Ottawa, the Ottawa Seventh-day Adventist Church has had the privilege of hosting the Jamaica Independence Anniversary Celebrations. This year due to COVID-19, an in person gathering was not possible, however the Deputy High Commissioner and the Jamaica Ottawa Association has made available to us the 58th Anniversary Independence Celebration Service which was recorded for the occasion at Ottawa Carleton Church of God.
We thank Ms. Dana-Leigh Anderson (Jamaica High Commission Ottawa) and Pastor Desmond Reid (Victory Church of God Ottawa Carleton) for their kindness in so doing. The Keynote Speaker for the 58th Anniversary service was Pastor Dr. Mansfield Edwards President of the Ontario Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. We extend congratulations to the diaspora within the City and our church family. Continued Rich Blessings.
