This Sabbath, July 27, is Children’s Sabbath - a day set aside by churches worldwide to highlight and affirm the gift and gifts of children in our midst. It is a day to celebrate children as active participants in the life of the church. Join us for the Ottawa Seventh-day Adventist Church worship experience, beginning with Sabbath School at 9:30 a.m. The children of the church lead out in the divine service under the theme “Agape Love.” On this special day, invite friends and neighbors to bring their children.
We look forward to seeing you in person and online.
In the afternoon, Bible Class will take place in the sanctuary of the Ottawa Adventist Church, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The class, which is open to all (youth and adults), aims to nurture and encourage a study of God’s Word, as well as foster a deeper understanding of the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s 28 Fundamentals Beliefs. Come, bring a friend and be blessed.
In the evening you do not want to miss the benefit concert “United and Strong In the Storm” at 6:00 p.m. to support those impacted by the recent hurricane in the Caribbean. All proceeds will be directed through the Adventist Development and Relief Agency’s (ADRA) hurricane relief efforts.
(9:45 AM to 10:45AM: Children’s Sabbath School classes take place in-person for all classes. Visit www.Childrenzville for more details.)
The Divine Service will be streamed on the church’s YouTube channel.
The church bulletin can be viewed online at https://www.ottawasda.org/news-events/bulletin
While we return to in-person worship, we are still able to return God’s tithes and give offerings online. From www.AdventistGiving.org, select “Ottawa Adventist Church” or download the AdventistGiving app on your iPhone or Android device. It is both easy and safe. You can also click on the "Giving" menu option from the church’s web site (www.ottawasda.org). From there you can return/give directly via AdventistGiving.org.
