Join Us This Sabbath | September 20, 2025

Join us September 20, as we celebrate World Pathfinder Day - a special Sabbath honoring what it means to be a Pathfinder: faith, service, leadership, and community. The Moriah Pathfinder Club will be leading the worship service with a special program that highlights Pathfinder life and mission.

Theme

This year’s theme is "Pathfinder on Purpose."

What Does It Mean to Be a Pathfinder on Purpose?

Being a Pathfinder on Purpose means you choose to live with intention, to grow in Christ, and to live out your faith in real, everyday ways.

Pathfinders are not only learners and leaders - they are helpers with purpose. One of the most powerful ways Pathfinders can live their faith is by serving others in their own communities.

To every Pathfinder wearing the uniform: remember you are not just representing a club. You are representing a kingdom. The drills, the honors, the camping trips are tools, not the target.

The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV), “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”

Being a Pathfinder on purpose means trusting that God has a plan for you—even now. You don’t have to wait to be used by God. Let’s go—on purpose.

What to Expect

Come for Sabbath School at 9:30 a.m. where we will study the Bible together, and participate in a  thought-provoking lesson study. Then gather with us for Divine Service at 11:00 a.m. where Pastor Andrew Thomas will present the sermon entitled “Pathfinders on Purpose.”

Can't make it in person? Not to worry—the Divine Service is streamed live on the church’s YouTube channel so you can join our worship from anywhere.

Whether you join us in person or online, we can’t wait to worship with you. See you there!
